Pamela Pintus vive e lavora a Roma.
Si forma all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma dove si laurea con lode prima in Pittura e poi in Arti Visive e Discipline dello Spettacolo.
Interessata ad analizzare il paesaggio nel suo noema, assume l’esperienza sensibile e la memoria come fondanti, incentrando il suo lavoro principalmente sulle forme della traccia che si fa segno e si fa linguaggio in molti suoi lavori.
La sua pratica spazia dalla pittura al disegno, alla sperimentazione con materiali ricercati come la carta fatta a mano e la foglia oro, fino al video e all’installazione, privilegiando spesso il site-specific.
Suoi lavori sono stati esposti in Istituzioni sia in Italia che all’Estero tra cui il Site Oud Sint-Jan Museum di Bruges, Belgio; Verein Berliner Kunstler Gallery di Berlino; Parque Cultural di Valparaiso, Cile; Galéria Slovenského Rozhlasu, Bratislava; IIC di Santiago del Cile; Museo dell’Opera del Duomo di Milano; Arsenale di Venezia; Museo Macro Testaccio; Ambasciata del Cile in Roma.
Nel 2018 fonda con Lulù Nuti il duo LU.PA, un’identità artistica che opera principalmente attraverso la performance.
Pamela Pintus lives and works in Rome.
She’s graduated with honors in Painting and in Visual and Performing Arts at the Fine Arts Academy in Rome.
Interested in analyzing the landscape in its noema, she takes sensitive experience and memory as foundations, focusing her work mainly on the forms of the trace that becomes a sign and becomes a language in many of her works. Her works range from painting to drawing, from experi- mentation with refined materials such as handmade paper, to video and installation, often favoring the site-specific.
Her works have been exhibited in Institutions both in Italy and abroad including the
Site Oud Sint-Jan Museum in Bruges, Belgium; Verein Berliner Kunstler Gallery in Berlin; Parque Cultural de Valparaiso, Chile; Galéria Slovenského Rozhlasu, Bratislava; IIC of Santiago de Chile; Museum of the Opera del Duomo of Milan; Arsenal of Venice; Macro Testaccio Museum; Chilean Embassy in Rome.
In 2018 she founded the duo LU.PA with Lulù Nuti, an artistic identity that operates mainly through performance.
